Kenmore Sewing Machine Repair
Kenmore machines were sold under a store name and built by several different makers, so two machines that look alike inside the same series can be quite different. The 158 series in particular is worth every dollar of a service. We are an independent repair shop and we are not connected to the retailer or to any of the original manufacturers.
Common problems with these machines

- Dried grease in the cam stack so the zigzag will not move
- Brittle wiring, tired foot controls and stretched motor belts
- Bobbin winder tire worn smooth so the bobbin will not wind
